The strange becomes normal

 When you go into the 2-storey supermarket and the entire baking section is two shelves wide ...
 and the canned goods section is less than a full aisle ...
 and the freezer section features avocado and strawberry ice cream ...
 when you know you can get your hair cut in the mall for $3.50 ...
and you don't even blink - then you know the strange has become normal. Happy mid-week, everyone!

Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous;
    it is fitting for the upright to praise him.
Praise the Lord with the harp;
    make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre.

Sing to him a new song;
    play skillfully, and shout for joy.
For the word of the Lord is right and true;
    he is faithful in all he does.

The Lord loves righteousness and justice;
    the earth is full of his unfailing love. Psalm33:1-5 NIV
*God has destined us not for wrath but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:9
Moravian Prayer: Gracious Redeemer, we humbly thank you for the gift of your mercy. May your forgiveness of our sins rid us from all shame, guilt, and fear so that we may live freely in your name. Amen.
